Welcome to the Whasblog

What is the whasblog?
A means of communication, mostly. So that a bunch of old school chums can keep in touch, even after they’ve gone their seperate ways to univeristy, work or indeed the gutter. Provided the gutters have internet connections, all is well. This is a place to share experiences, stories, photos, just basically any random stuff about our (fairly mundane?) lives. Of course you, the average internet user, will not be able to see all our posts, as personal things might be said that we only want our friends to hear. But otherwise feel free to browse the posts and indulge in our soap-opera rendition of our lives. Maybe you’ll find some advice if you’re going to uni? Learn from the mistakes we make! And no doubt, we will make many a mistake.
And if you are a registered member, you know who you are, there are some goodies for you which will pop up in the sidebar once you are logged in. Hello there chums, get posting! As soon as something interesting happens, of course… or even if it’s not actually
And so, I hereby declare this Whasblog… open!
P.s: I imagine around half of the Whasbloggers are unaware of what an RSS feed is (see top right of the page). Basically it’s a quick and easy way of finding out when someone has blogged. Rather than checking back to the page every so often in the hopes of finding an update, you can ‘subscribe to the feed’. But don’t be misled, that doesn’t cost anything. Your ‘feedreader’ will then send you a little note when somone has blogged or commented. Handy eh? Common feedreaders include Thunderbird, there’s one on Google itself, and theres billions of others over the net. So subscribe if you are able. Join the rave.
Very very soon… +ninja
Yay!
