Part time work for two months
Jul 18th, 2007 by rgolbourn
Hi everybody!
As most if not all of you know I’ve been looking for a job recently and after a small mishap at the outset, it’s going much better now.
Anyway, I posted my CV on monster.com, as you do and about 5 mins ago, I had a call from a recruitment agency in Central London. They were looking for someone to work for two months at HSBC in Central London doing general admin and bank things for juniors. They had 3 people and needed a fourth. I turned down the job as I didn’t want to travel that far and was looking for something more permanent but he asked if I had any friends that may be interested so I took his details for any of you who need some cash before uni:
Richard Green
Tel: 02072650377
Need a knowledge of Excel and other parts of Office Package. Mostly basic Admin duties.
£10 an hour!!! To start the 30th July for two months.
I will keep you poasted of other things if I hear anything…
Btw, not sure if John told any of you but about a week ago I wrote a really long post keeping up to date with all the goings on here but as I did it in the wrong place, you probably haven’t read it.
Anyway,
Hope everyone is hunky dory and I’ll try to find some more time to post soon though I am strangely busy (had another interview today who offered me a trial starting from next Mon and another interview tomorrow) I’m just applying for every job I can see!!
Take care
Robyn

£10 an hour… good grief! That’s a wage of kings! About the ‘missing blog’ which you wrote as a comment, I’ve just approved it as a comment so it’ll show up on whichever blog you wrote it on :] Good luck with the trials and job hunting, sounds like you’re putting a lot of energy into it!
Sounds like you’re doing really well on the job-hunting front! That job in London sounds fantastic, I’d love to be paid £10 an hour
It is a long way to travel though.
I read your old post because you wrote it as a comment on my blog! Shame about the outcome of the trial you had at that cosmeticy supplying place, but it sounds like you’ve got lots of other good things lined up. Good luck with it all!
