I enjoy some opera, but sometimes is just really repetitive. I like being able to understand what’s being sung also! But I’m glad you had fun at Carmen, a famous one indeed. Good to hear from you again.

Hopefully he did just as well as you. :happy: French singing is always a bit weird with the pronunciation - even in modern music they always emphasise the last 'e' on a word where it wouldn't normally be pronounced in speech. I always remember this because I got confused the first time I heard the French version of a song from Aladdin where they pronounce 'rêve' like that :P Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the opera despite Carmen's annoying voice and the naff plot!
