Greetings From Brookes

Heya everyone, how are you all doing? Sounds like everyone is busy with their respective courses/work. I’m doing both now; I have a job in a small hairdressers called Joannes. All our customers are women between the age of 60 and 93!!! I’m not kidding; I have a 93 year old person who I have to wash hair for, which is tricky, because she can’t really bend forwards or back and is very delicate…. When does everyone come back home? I know Freddie has an exam on the 21st december and I have two on the 20th, then I’m working until the 22nd and probably coming back on the 23rd 
. Still, I’ll hopefully see you all after xmas and before the new year… I’m thinking winter gathering/house-warming type thing… As none of you have seen the house yet, not even Toby!! I mean, for me, I’ve lived at halls for longer than the new house, it’s a bit weird…. Basically, this is just a mini-update on what’s been going on… Hope you’re all good and I’m sorry I didn’t write sooner.

Wow, hairdressing sounds far from mundane at least. Good luck with the exams later this month! Sorry to hear you don’t get back for so long. Really good to hear from you. :happy:
Ooh, well done on getting yourself a job. It sounds more interesting than my library work, although other people’s hair creeps me out a bit so I’m not sure if I could do it myself :V
I just got back home for Christmas today and it feels so weird being away from Warwick – I miss it already! :frown: Really looking forward to seeing everyone here though, I’ll definately be having another dinner party at my house and I’ll make sure it’s sometime when everyone can make it (so probably after Christmas on a weekend – keep your calendars free peeps!).

I know what you mean about ridiculously old woman…we have them here too. You must be super busy with work now in the run-up to Christmas. We are here. We don’t have any appointments at all until mid next week. It’s really good to hear from you and I’m glad you’re getting on ok. I didn’t know you were moving house!
