Well today I got free beeron the bus and as such it was a good day. As to how i got the free beer….. well you’ll jsut have to read the rest of the blog won’t you (buncha lazy good-for-nothings). Right this all started with another bus journey.
I was the bus home from work and at the top of a hill in the middle of no-where the bus decided to suddenly combust. So there i was standing in the pouring rain (yes ti was raining didn’t i mention that?) feeling quite upset. Since misery loves company and for lack of anything else to do I struck up a conversation with a fellow traveller. We started talking and got along quite amiably and it turned out he got the same bus back as I did. Well I was feeling quite happy that despite all my friends having ruthelessly abandoned me here i was making friends with complete strangers on the bus (that is a good thing). Only it turned out that this person was not a friendly stranger (wow that sounds wrong) instead it turned out we’d known each other since we were about 7 (we went to the same primary school). And neither of us had realised this till yesterday despite the fact we were both very memorable (read very ginger).  How does this relate to free beer? Well today it seems his boss gave him a box of 20 bottles of carlsberg and since we were old friends we shared the bottles on the ride home. It was a fun ride.
In other news I recently aced my BMAT and so i now have an interview to study medicine at UCL on January 8th.
Ooh that’s great! I don’t know what a BMAT is but I’m guessing it’s some kind of medicinal examiny thing…good luck with the interview!
It’s always nice to bump into old friends, sounds like it was a fun day
As television tells us, a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met! Although, strangely, you had met them. So that ruins that concept. Drinking on the bus?! No better place I suppose. Especially when rain is involved.
Well done with the MmBat (again) and best of luck with the interview when it gets around to cropping up.
Your typing is rubbish. See you can’t multi-task.
Well done on your BMAT thing though I don’t know what it is
Your typing makes you sound a bit drunk
Enjoyed the free beer a little too much, perhaps? ^^
Well my typing will be fine as long as I don’t need to type the letter that comes between ‘t’ and ‘v’ as I seem to have lost that letter on the pc at work…
Let me know how the interview goes in Jan. Fingers crossed
It’s always nice to meet old faces
How’s the driving coming along?
