Well that’s not quite the phrase that’s in my head at the moment, but this film is rated U (for ‘unsuitable’ for all audiences). As of about half an hour ago I am a free man. After making myself a bit ill with stress over trying to do a ridiculous amount of work, I’ve finally finished it all and bagged it up ready to be handed in tomorrow morning. Now I no longer have to be a social reject! Let’s just hope that the people on my corridor can still remember my name.
Since I’ve spent so long doing this ridiculous stuff I wanted to share with you the outcomes of what I’m about to hand in. So to start with I’ll show you one of the three CD covers I designed and two of the book covers I did for my ‘Digital Imaging’ module. That is, ‘Photoshop for Newbs’. I got a bit carried away with my arrogance trying to prove that I wasn’t a newb. A mistake I won’t be repeating. Hopefully.

There we are then. I’m rather happy with them, and the prints look resolutiontacular. As of yet I’m the only person to be doing planetty space type things, which is quite refreshing. However some people have been threatening to experiment with creating their own over the break, so I could have some competition on my hands. ‘What does this have to do with photography?!’ I hear you cry. Well very little to be truthful. But our lecturer does not seem to mind.
So, ‘Shooting For Story’ my other photographical module was based on religion. I messed this project up a bit and ended up with lots of poor quality writing and a set of passable final images. Hopefully that means ‘passable’ in the examination sense of the word. Here’s the three ‘scene setting’ shots from my final ten.
The other images just elaborated on the setting, showing the ‘work’ of the people who attend. Quite a tenuous link to my theme but I’m sure it’ll be fine. It’s getting a bit late so I must be brief now. My third module was a report on how I’ve developed my ‘Learning Skills’ during the semester. Study skill type things. So with that handed in and everything else now done I am done done done. 271 A4 pages might have been a little too much work and I sense that I will be penalised for obliterating the ‘suggested equivalent word count’ but only time will tell!I’m heading back home this Wednesday and looking forward to seeing you all on the 4th of January (maybe some people beforehand if something can be organised?). Have a great break everyone who is getting one! Relax and make the most of it!

Yaaaay! I’m so glad it’s all done and I’m even more glad you’re coming home sooooon *hugsqueeze* <3 !
I love the book cover of the lake…that’s a really pretty picture. Plus that looks like a really lovely little church rather reminiscent of the one my parents married in.
It does sound like you’ve been working extremelt hard so I hope you find time to just calm down and have a breather over the festive period.
Toodles
Sophie: Yaaay you
Robyn: Glad you like eet. And it was a very cute church chapel place indeed. I had to go to the art gallery across the road to pick up the key to get inside. Thank you, I shall put my feet up now ^^
