In case you’d thought I’d deserted the whasblog, I haven’t. It’s just I haven’t had anything exciting to tell you about- and I still don’t!
So I’m going to do my usual type of blog- the ‘what’s happened to me recently’ blog. A few weeks ago, I went to see ‘Aspects of Love’ at the Wycombe Swan. It was ok but, although I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was disappointing, it was not what I was expecting. Plus (although this is true to a certain extent of all musicals) it barely had a feasible plot and they sang virtually every line to the point where I had to laugh (“Would you like a cup of corr-ffeeee?” being the best example of this). My mum spent most of the performance in tears but most of the characters were so fickle that they got on my nerves. Everybody was kissing everybody else and there was romping on several occasions, plus a bit of nudity, so something for everyone
.
I have recently obtained a cd player for my car, which is quite exciting as I only have a cassette player atm. It’s yet to be installed.
I’m going to a quiz night tomorrow night. We have our old family team back (practically the same one we had in 2005 when we won) so hopefully we won’t disgrace ourselves. We’ve got a healthy mix of ages and ‘specialist categories’ so fingers crossed we’ll be ok. I excelled at the ‘Mr Men Picture Round’ last year. I really came into my own lol. We all have to wear something pink to identify our team but we’ve gone a little overboard with the pink wigs and hair pieces. I’m really looking forward to it though.
We’ve got a new family car. It’s similar to what we had before. It’s the new shape Vauxhall Safira which in my opinion is much more attractive the the other one and it’s ‘panacotta’ in colour which basically just means really pale beige. Sounds disgusting but actually not too bad.
That’s all I can think of for now. Life is continuing much the same as before.
Hope you are all well.

Romping in the theatre?! What is the world coming to. None of that back in the good old days of Shakesp…. oh well, maybe, but…
Your quiz night sounds like it’ll be a lot more fun than our su ones! Good luck with it. Glad life is progressing well over there ^^
Sounds like quite an odd musical if you ask me! I hope it was reasonably enjoyable though. Good luck at the quiz. They have a weekly one at our union but we’ve never been, although it sounds quite fun. Maybe some time I shall venture there with some friends
most musicals annoy me, unless they are the really big west end type, or fun ones like the rocky horror picture show
pink quizzing sounds like a larf, and like the others i should really venture to the union quiz. new cars and new cd players are fun, i sitll lie in the realms of tape players with mine
