A Backward Poet Writes Inverse

I never usually know how to start blogs so this way will have to do. Anyhoo – muchos lacking of bloggos from me (and my spell checker thinks bloggos is a word, i’m scared).
So, I’ve been pretty much everywhere. I went to Edinburgh with David, Paris with my mum, Wycombe to see a friend, London to go to London and back to Oxford to pretend to do more work than I actually am doing. All in all a very good spread of places I think. Ah yes, my friend told me a joke that I apparently have to repeat. It goes something like this: “never f*** a midget with downs syndrome – it ain’t big and it ain’t clever”. But the funniest thing was that took me 5 minutes to understand. Good times.
I haven’t been out very much recently
Usually I would have done but money is leaping out of my bank account to try and get away from me as fast as possible (I don’t think it likes me anymore) and there are !!!EXAMS!!! soon! Not that i’ve actually started revising yet (they start on Monday) and I’ve already failed one module this semester (purely by accident mind you) – but I only need 6 and I’ve already got 4 anyway
So i’ve just spent every night at the SU instead of going out, which although it can be fun can get kind of boring. Recently (as in the past 3 nights i’ve been here) we’ve started playing scrabble and trivial pursuit instead – much much cheaper than drinking all night in the bar and you don’t wake up feeling like a bit of a numpty =D.
So that’s about the whole of my life, bar any detail. I think I break up before everyone else. Technically I finish on May 9th with my last exam but I’m not going to go home until the 17th (just before my 19th!!! Hooooraaah!)
Hope you’re all well and hunky dory
Fred x x
You finish on the 9th of May?? Omg, my first exam is on the 27th and I don’t finish until the 12th of June or something… gahh you’re so lucky.
All the travelling sounds fun. I haven’t been able to go anywhere recently except places that music takes me, like Warwick and Birmingham. Boorring. But yay for scrabble
It’s the coolest game.
That downs syndrome joke is really mean!
Also, there are seven ducklings living outside my window at the moment. Cutest. Thing. Ever.

Did you go to new shopping centre in Wycombe? It’s like a shining cave of designer brands and coffee outlets. A homage to all that is capitalist. I’m with Soph about the joke being really mean though :catfish: Glad you’re enjoying uni and getting through the exams and whatnot, good luck with the remainder.
Money trying to escape- I know how that feels! I’ve been trying to save as much as I can but sometimes it’s just too tempting.
Your exams start on Monday? Even though it’s bank holiday? Anyway, I hope they go well. You better get down to some serious revising!
Lol, good luck Freddie, with both; revising and exams. That is a lot of travelling, well done u. Wel done on the house as well. Scrabble….I really need to get a proper scrabble board. we’ve never had one in our family. As to breaking up than anyone you know? I’m going to steal that from you, sorry. My last (and second) exam is on the 6th.
I had a deadline on every day for last week, sometimes more than one…. I had a lot of assignmnets. And two exams, one of which is done (and I think i may have failed).
That joke is mean, but i agree with Soph, John and u, Freddie, becasue I do think its mean, but didnt get it until after a while either…. and I haven’t had any alcohol for months. meh.
Anyway, best of luck with exams and revsion again, and also to other peeps, may the force be with u all…
(Oh yes, I so did just use a star wars quote…woooooooooooooot!)
the joke is very un p.c. i rarely go out to the campus stuff, and avoid the clubs like the plague. exams-you’ll love them-just kidding, but im sure youll be fine.
