Yes yes, John’s still alive. Tragic isn’t it! Nevertheless, hello everyone. Sorry for the distinct lack of posting from the uni-side recently. That’s have been rather complicated for a variety of reasons. But now all my work (all 247 pages of it complete with 3 A1 boards and a selection of smaller ones) has been handed in.
Luckily for me this marks me as finished for the first year of uni. Crikey did I really pay £3000 for that? But really its been a good year overall and I’m looking forward to moving into our new house with corridor peoples in September.
I’m still in Cambridge at the moment, making the most of the nice weather by sitting inside and shaking my fist at the pollen outside, but will be home by the end of the month. I have a feeling home will feel very strange indeed for all the time I’m there over the summer. Might take a bit of getting used to. I may even have to get myself a … a… job (phear) over the ‘holiday’. Anyone need any photography done?
Which reminds me, new camera! Yay. Although I haven’t seen it yet as it’s waiting for me patiently at home.
What’s everyone else’s plans for the summer then, do tell!
p.s. Looks like WordPress got hacked again and is still suffering from the same vulnerability. What a pants piece of software! Now I have a little more time for a couple of weeks I can fiddle with things a bit more.
good to hear that you got all your work finished and done, still got one exam to go, which finishes at 5pm on friday (oh the pain!). but you are right, the year does seem to have disappeared-whoosh! there it goes. summer plans, earn money and bum around.
bad news about the hacking, why would anybody want to do that??
I still can’t believe you’ve finished already when I still have seven weeks to go :bigo: Well done for getting all of your work finished though, I hope you do really well  Also looking forward to seeing your new camera!
My only solid summer plan is voluntary work in France (have I blogged about that yet?), apart from that I’ll just try to read as many books as possible for next year and get lots of work from Duco Personnel. Fun fun fun :]
xXx
Toby: I think its an automated thing rather than a deliberate targeting. But even so. Pain in the bottom. It means they could add links and adverts on the site somewhere, but since this is a custom theme I suppose it isn’t quite working they way they anticipated. Mwahahah. Good luck with your last exam! :catfish:
Soph: Seven weeks! But you have lots of music society things between now and then. Some people have exams still, and the uni term doesn’t officially stop until July some time. I don’t know if you’ve blogged about it yet, I think you’d best do so again for good measure anyway :3
Tragic? Tragic??? methinks not! Wow! a new camera! Hope you have loads of fun with that (you probably already have/are). A job is a good idea, John, unless you find a really fun way to occupy your time, all games consoles aside!!!
Sorry for my lack of comments. The internet at work has been broken for a whole week and I barely get enough time when I’m at home to use it.
247 pages! That’s a lot of pages. I can’t believe you’ve been at uni for ‘a year’ already. That sounds simply crazy to me. Glad all the exams are over.
Robyn: No worries. Luckily I didn’t actually have any exams, and won’t for the rest of my course either. Apparently there’s nothing to examine in photography except for the coursework! And indeed, thats 247 pages plus the 271 ish from last semester. Maybe I should write a novel. :buck:
Tammy: But I liiiike gameseses.
