Reversible Christmas Trees
Nov 23rd, 2008 by John
What!? I was just in John Lewis and they’re selling upside-down Christmas trees. Is this a new fashion? Or is it referencing the upside-down cross? Can you now have your own anti-Christmas in style? What is this madness.
They claim it’s so you can have a ‘different look’ this year. After all, having a normal tree is SO last year.
"Last year, our innovative upside-down tree was one of our Christmas best-sellers."
I suppose the decorations hang off it a bit better? Maybe it’s twice as effective at keeping witches at ebay? I’ve just put in a patent application for an inside-out tree.
Hope everyone’s surviving school year 15 / work and anything else.
How bizarre! Just looks weird and silly to me
Whooaaaa! seriously disconcerting tree there….. I think I’d be old-fashioned and stick to a normal one…. besides, I reckon certain members of my family would attempt to climb the upside down xmas tree and sit on its base….I mean canopy?…I mean…. top?… or whatever. :shock :
