Life in the Universe

Well, I haven’t updated here in a while so I thought I’d give you the pleasure.
I don’t really know where to begin so I’m just going to dive straight in to my most recent endeavours. Hopefully I’m going to get a job with NHSÂ Professionals (I applied this week) as a Community Care Worker for Oxford and Buckinghamshire Mental Health Trust, which if I get will be fandabidozie. Might help me get on the MRes course in Cognitive Neuroscience I want to do when I graduate, so here’s hoping.
Working backwards here – Christmas has been okay though I have hardly seen anyone from school (I saw Ellen/Laura/Steph once). Mainly been out in London or in Oxford or for the majority of the time sleeping in my lovely bed. Spent New Year in Oxford, too.
The first semester went absolutely amazingly. I LOVE MY COURSE. I understand statistics now, too, which is a miracle for me – I get exam results next week and they all went really really well so I’m hoping for a good mark. But you never know with these things really :S
What else have I been doing? Oh yeah, I finally joined some societies, namely LGBT and Psychology. Haven’t been to any of the things they do yet but my lecturer keeps pestering me to go to psychscoc so I may just well get involved in such things. And house-hunting. Jesus it’s complicated. I’m glad it’s the last time I have to do it because trying to find a compromise between 5 people is not easy (though I have negotiated a double bedroom, hoorah =D).
I also applied for work experience with some psychology dude over the summer, which will mean I get to go around loads of prisons and see mentally dangerous people. What fun it shall be!
Anway, I’m bored of typing.
Hope you’re all good.
Christmas is for sleeping anyway isn’t it?
Good show with all the work and work experience and things. Sounds like a busy time ahead! Mentally dangerous people ftw. :V
Oooo let us know how that application goes. Your bed can’t be a lovely as mine
