Hi peeps, long time no blog from me so I thought I’d do one now. Yaysies
)
I’ve broken up for the Easter holidays now which is a big yay, although despite having 5 weeks off I sadly have no time to rejoice in this newfangled sunshine business, but instead have to get down to writing lots and lots of assessed essays (four of the buggers…that’s 15,000 bloomin’ words in total!). Bad times. But it’s good to be home, and away from a certain nauseatingly smelly housemate who doesn’t wash or cut his icky hair or shave his stupid face or pay his rent or bills. But that’s a story for another day (and my other four housemates are lovely, so it’s all good). So I got back home last night, and this morning I went to the dentist, where I saw Robyn – yay! So we had a good old catch up, and then I went in for my check-up and the dentist said my teeth were very good, and then cleaned them, which was HORRID and felt like she was trying to grind them down with some sort of machine that made my head feel wobbly. But my teeth are now very clean so I’m sure you’re all pleased about that.
Quoi d’autre… I’ve just generally being doing lots of music as usual, had a few concerts in pretty good venues – London and Birmingham this term, oh and a very little one in Cambridge which John came to see, so that was loveleh. I had a little solo moment in it too, yay. I’m doing more solos generally this year and really enjoying it.
) My next one coming up is at the beginning of next term in a choir concert in Oxford, which will be another fun road trip. Oh and if anyone is interested, *boasting-about-my-brother-moment-approaching-nnnnnNOW* Henry’s musical pursuits are going fantastically as always, and he’s going to RAM with a scholarship next year, woo!
I’ve just been called for dinner so I better skip off, but I think that was all the news I had anyway…hope everyone is well and hope to see you all sometime soon!

Wow!! SOunds like an time for you Spoh, both in easter and with the music, but congrats on all your concerts in Birmigham and London, they sound big!! Were you nervous at all?
Oxford eh? oooooo When and whereabouts would this be?
yeeeurgh to teeth cleaning, I remember going through something vaguely familiar when I had braces…. Anyway, best of luck with your essays, I have three ongoing ones at the minute… h’mmmm.
hugs xx
Ah. I meant to say: ‘sounds like a busy time for you Soph’… Sorry about my typing, my desk’s facing into the sun at the minute and I can’t really see what I’m doing, which is always fun. xx
It was really great to see you Soph and catch up on everything! Nobody likes the scaler but it does makes your teeth very shiny and smooth!
Hope you get all those essays done and get some time to enjoy your break.
Why not try working outside? Only problem is it’s bloody hard to see the laptop screen. But yes, fresh air and sunshine helps to counterbalance the icky essayworks.
Ahh, the teeth cleaning machine. It’s the price we all must pay for the joys of tea, coffee and red vine.
It was a splendid solo in Cambridge ^^ Bravo to Henry too, I expect his first solo album to be out within the year.
They were pretty coolies thanks tammy =] nah I wasn’t nervous, it’s fun! Yeeees the oxford one I think is going to be on saturday 25th april (john’s birthday, woo!), and I think it’ll be in one of the college chapels but I’m not sure which one yet. I’ll let you know, we’ll probably head down early so I should get some free time after rehearsal and we can hopefully meet up!
I know, they haven’t used the tooth-cleaning/scaler majig on me since I had my braces I don’t think, so I forgot how nasty it is. But my teeth have been feeling very clean!
Thanks John
I’m singing the same one in oxford so don’t have to do any new note-learning, hurrah!
