Good afternoon one and all. Tammy and I briefly mentioned at the end of coffee-meet another possible murder mystery before everyone goes back to uni and all that jazz. I propose either the 1st or 2nd of January, but that leaves only a week to get everything organised; choosing a mystery (which we may need to order in) and getting all your costumes, weather permitting and during the seasonal holidays.

So please let us know what you think; do we have enough time to arrange/melon a murder mystery in a week (ish), or should we leave the murder mystery until Easter?

We could go for another impromptu winter gathering instead, involving films, games, general merriment or whatever else anybody wants to do :)

Well I am totally up for doing something (anything!) as I haven’t seen you all yet! The murder mystery was really fun, but dont want to make everyone stressed, so I would be equally happy with a general gathering ^^ 1st would work for me, I believe

Mima makes a good point about organising a murder mystery in a week though, especially over Christmas…. I think a less planned gathering of sorts and peeps may work better…

What about dinner? or a film? or quasar?

or any other ideas?

The murder mystery was good, but I’m just as happy with a general gathering if it’s going to be a lot of hassle getting it sorted in time.

I will need to check with Damo what we’re up to on the 1st. I missed the first murder mystery but would be just as happy with a get-together if I’m free. Preferably something as low cost as poss as money is not in abundance atm

Hi again guys,

thinking about it further, my three suggestions of dinner, quasar or film all have the potnetial for at least £10 plus travelling costs, so does anyone have any other suggestions?

I’ll bring a bear and some bait.
We could just all gather at someone’s house and reenact New Year’s Eve =] We could play silly games and talk of times gone by while a film flickers on someone’s tellyset.

People are most welcome to come over on the 1st for an afternoon/evening of eating, talking, party games, films, dr. who etc. all that jazz.

However I am equally happy for everyone to go out for an activity somewhere.

sounds good to me. =] my brother’s doing a concert on the 1st but I think it might be in the afternoon so that’ll probably be fine for me too. or any other evening really. =]

ok folks and folkettes, people can start turning up at five-thirty onwards, so we have plenty of time to eat nibbles(or my mum suggests raclette (right spelling)) and settle down ready for dr. who.

feel free to bring anything along, such as games, pokemon, party/rubber rings, dvds, tupperware or trumpets etc

no worries about being late, it was just a rough time so people don’t turn up at some crazy hour-like the morning or something :shock :

Hello everyone. I’m sorry but I’m going to have to miss this one as well! It’s just a really bad time for me to do things atm as Damian reminded me I’m supposed to be helping him move into our house on Friday and we’re going to Ikea on Saturday to get some bits and bobs and Sunday I’ve already been invited out so I’ll be tied up pretty much all weekend. I promise that once the wedding/house things are all out of the way and we’ve settled in, I’ll be around in the summer for gatherings. Hope you have a splendid time.

P.S If I get a mo I’ll try and work out (or ask Damo) how to reduce picture size so I can post some pics of the house.
