Finished uni, this got me a certificate and opportunity to wear a funny hat.

Had a brief time to relax. Went on holiday to the USA. San Francisco, LA and Las Vegas. San Francisco is very pretty had has good food. LA is a bit of a dump but the beach was lovely and Las Vegas is so tacky that it becomes amazing.

Found a house to rent, moved into it. It is in St Albans. Close to town centre and station. It is lovely it has a patio/balcony type thing and two whole bedrooms. Unfortunately it is rather chilly.

Started work. This was quite scary at first but everyone is really nice and I am all settled in now.

Did some exams, passed.

Did some more exams, have not received the results yet.

It was Christmas. The first time I have not spent Christmas with my family. I spent it with Laurence’s family. It was great, a lot less arguing than a normal Christmas at mine.

New Year!!!!!!!! Didn’t do too much. Played with a blender making alcoholic smoothies.

That was my year in summary. We should meet up some time soon. Some organisation is needed. Maybe people could comment with dates/places that are good for them.

I HAVE A JOB!!!! After an epic year of job hunting I have finally found one. I will be a trainee auditor, clearly the coolest kind of bureaucrat. I am in a specialist team that only deals with the not for profit sector. That means that a large amount of the people I will work with are nuns, NUNS!!! I have been told that nuns are lovely but not always great at understanding finance. On the down side this has signed me up for another three years of exams. Working and studying at the same time sounds intense but hopefully it won’t be tooo stressful. The job is in London so not bad for meet ups (Especially you Tim, I will hunt you down.), but I will probably live in St Albans and join the army of commuters.

BUT before all that I still have my exams to get through. The first one is tomorrow (so I am currently procrastinating) but I am lucky enough to only have 3 and so finish on June 7th. Then freeedom!!, well until August.

I better get back to cramming.

P.S can someone forward me Robyn’s wedding photos, my email is rosie.day@tiscali.co.uk

I have moved into my new house. It is very big and very empty atm. It fits 21 people, currently there are 2, me and another girl who’s room is as far away from mine as it is possible to get. It is very spooky at night. It is quite an old building so it has all the associated creeks and squeeks. It also has no lights in the twisty, slopey, mazelike corridors so at night I wander around with a torch (it makes it a bit less scary and a me a lot less likely to walk into a wall). To add to the ghost evidence it used to be an old folks home, so there propbably are lots of ghosts wandering around.

Scariness asside it is a really good house. It has just had new kitchens fitted and everything! I hope it will be less scary when it is full of students being noisy. It should be : )

I have returned after a long absence to the world of blogging. As well as having returned to Buckinghamshire for the easter holidays. I’m currently using whasblog as procrastination, hiding from essay writing, revision and job hunting.

I’ve decided to follow the highly exciting career path of an accountant after university. Unfortunately this means that I need to find myself some summer work vaguely related to accountancy. I went for an interview yesterday. It was TERRIFYING and lasted for over an hour. I left having no idea if they liked me or not. They say they will get back to me by the end of April so fingers crossed. But if any of you know any friendly accountants who might want an assistant over the summer please point me in their direction.

Despite having not blogged in a long time I can’t think of much thats been going on. I seem to spend most of my time at uni not working like a good girl but wandering from one end of Leamington to the other between my house and my boyfriends house. Then during the holidays i realise that i did no work during the term and oh shit i better do some now. And talking of work i think procratination time needs to be over. BYE xxx

The only minor errors were my navigation and the stealing of icecream by a seagull. In general a good time was had.
